Welcome to Priest Hutton
Priest Hutton is situated on the Cumbria border of North Lancashire. It is 3 Km from J35 of the M6 and 5 Km North of Carnforth, 3 Km south of Burton-in-Kendal and 0.5 Km off the A6070.
The well known Longlands Hotel is situated 1 Km from the village alongside the Lancaster Canal and Tewitfield Locks. A major Marina development is taking place adjacent to the canal at the rear of the Hotel which will be open later this year.
Greenlands Farm Village development is now open.
Passing through the village en route from Silverdale to Lunesdale and beyond is the Lancashire Cycleway.
Sign posted footpaths pass through the village to Cinderbarrow and the Lune Valley. These footpaths have an historic range of Gates and Stiles.
Kirkgate Lane, an ancient path links the village with the Chapel at Tewitfield.
The village shares social activities, St. Mary’s Church and Memorial Hall with the residents of the neighbouring village of Borwick.

The Library Van visits fortnightly on a Monday at 2.30pm at Priest Hutton Green following on to Borwick Green at 2.50pm.
