Borwick & Priest Hutton Village Show

· Saturday 6th August 2011

· The Village Hall Committee will run a Village Show this summer and revive a tradition which has been mislaid in recent years. This will take place on Saturday 6th August.

· The aim of the show is to bring together the people of the villages along with the groups who use the Village Hall throughout the year, in a fun and friendly competition on local produce, crafts and skills. In addition members of the Art group will be displaying their work in a summer exhibition.

· A list of categories for exhibits has been developed using input from the societies, clubs and groups who use the hall. Please find the schedule for the various competitions hereunder.

· Judging will take place in the early afternoon after which all are invited to view the entries and exhibits. The prize giving will be followed by an auction of produce and the day concluded with hot food.

· We are certain that you can find at least one category where you or a member of your family might enter. We are particularly keen to encourage entries in the children’s section.

 

· We are going to have a great day where all villagers can come together and celebrate the many talents which exist among our growers, photographers, bakers and artists, young and old.

 

· Please start planting, planning and preparing!
