This Olympic sport has been identified by Sport England as the fastest growing sport in the country.
|
|
|
The League has two senior divisions, a Summer League, four junior divisions and a partnership with the local SSCo to run an “Emerging” Schools League. Teams are also entered in the Lancashire Cheshire League, Veterans League.
|
|
|
Juniors also take part in he National Junior League ,National Cadet League, and County Schools Competitions organised by the ESTTA. A number of promising players enter the one and two star events held at Blackpool. Regular tournaments are scheduled at Morecambe, Dallam and Garstang.
|
|
|
Four senior team cup competitions are held each season along with the Individual championships including a Veteran event.
|
|
|
Coaching sessions are based at the local schools with “after school” groups at Carnforth HS, Lancaster Royal Grammar school, Morecambe HS, Ripley school, Garstang HS and Lancaster Girls Grammar school. The sport is also delivered at Great Wood primary school.

|
Progression to league level and beyond is provided following evening coaching sessions at Ripley TTC and Morecambe HS. Juniors progress to the senior ranks from the junior leagues.
